OUR PROGRAMS

New York Academy’s Elementary School course is a rigorous course designed to help students catch up on school curriculum, be prepared for future coursework and topics they will encounter in school, as well as material that will be on the state-wide exams.

New York Academy’s SHSAT Course offers an intensive program for students preparing to take the Specialized High School Admission Test in the Fall of their 8th grade school year. The course is adjusted each year to accommodate all changes made to the English and Math sections of the
exam. It will cover all test content and strategy and provide ample opportunities to practice the correct approach to these questions.

New York Academy’s SAT Course is designed to help students committed to raising their SAT scores regardless of whether they just started preparation or if they are working towards an upcoming exam date. Students new to the exam will learn the fundamentals and thought process behind SAT questions and materials, while upcoming test takers will have the opportunity to fix their weaknesses and hone their strengths.

As the SAT II Subject Tests have been cancelled entirely, the Advanced Placement (AP) exams will be the opportunity for students to show their strengths in certain subjects to colleges. New York Academy’s AP Subject Course is a rigorous program designed for high school students committed to in-depth learning of the subjects and raising their AP Test scores in May.
