About the course
With the removal of the SAT II Subject Tests, Advanced Placement (AP) Exams are now sent to colleges to give students an additional advantage over competitors who simply stop after the regular SAT. Some colleges require students to have exam scores that show how the students will do in the specific subject area they're applying to; others see it as students willing to challenge themselves and spend extra time outside of the classroom setting to learn. Whichever it may be, these subject exams allow colleges to look beyond just the high school GPA and SAT score to testify for a student's academic capabilities.
New York Academy offers AP Exam prep for the following subjects:
Biology
Chemistry
Physics and Calculus (one course)
